Happy HeART Teacher Mentorships began in 2017 as a collaboration with my long-time teaching partner, Ilana Ingber. The program helps teachers bring mindfulness into the classroom. We support teachers in their own self care practices to prevent burn out. Then we help teachers roll out mindfulness practices with their students. We have designed a structured program which begins with growth mindset (I can’t do it… YET!) helps students navigate strong emotions, and build resilience. Ilana and I use these practices in our own classrooms. We bring decades of research and personal experience to this work. We believe empowering teachers and students to understand their own minds and emotions will change the world.
